Nighttime ramp closures at the northbound on-ramp to I-205 Thursday, Dec. 19 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday, December 20 from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 26 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, Dec. 27 from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. (see detour map)

Traffic
OR 43 northbound single lane closure with trucks leaving and entering the highway.
Clackamette Drive single lane closure with temporary signal and flagger.
Jon Storm Park parking lot under the Abernethy Bridge closed during construction.
Local roads will experience lane closures and traffic restrictions during construction.
Noise
People who live and work in the project area will hear noise from construction equipment and vehicles, pile driving, bridge demolition, and other construction-related noise sources.

Light
Stationary lights with low lumens will be placed in the river to alert boaters.
River
The Willamette River remains accessible during Abernethy Bridge construction; the Sportcraft Boat Ramp is open.
'No wake' zones are in place during 2024 through the bridge construction area on the Willamette River.
River users will notice several large barges anchored in the river and are required to stay 200 feet away from them. River users are urged to use extreme caution, and all boats must travel between the green and red buoys.
Bike and Pedestrian
Bike and pedestrian routes through construction zones are in place. People walking and riding a bike need to use caution when traveling through the project area. Follow signs and stay alert.
