Construction: Jon Storm parking lot will be closed beginning May 31

We are in the final steps of awarding a construction contract to Kiewit Infrastructure West for work on the Abernethy Bridge widening. Work is expected to start in June!

To accommodate bridge improvements, the Jon Storm parking lot under the bridge in Oregon City will close starting May 31, 2022 and will remain closed until upgrades are finished in 2025.

Additionally, bridge construction will impact bike and pedestrian access in the area and along OR 99. Visit the project website and Tripcheck.com to learn more about construction impacts.

When completed, the bridge will accommodate three lanes in each direction, be earthquake-ready, and feature improved on-and off- ramps, among other improvements.
